Terms and conditions of use
Last updated: 19 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the Mariposa Coaching website or book and take part in our services. Please read them with our Privacy policy.
1. About these terms
Mariposa Coaching is the trading name of Sukan Nair, a sole trader based in England. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Sukan Nair, trading as Mariposa Coaching. "You" means the person using our website or our services.
By using our website, or booking a call or programme, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or book our services. Before you start a programme, we will also ask you to confirm your agreement in writing.
2. Using our website
-
You may view, download and print pages from our website for your own personal, non-commercial use.
-
We work to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise it is always complete, current or free from errors.
-
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website at any time. We will not be liable if it is unavailable for a period.
-
You must not misuse the website, for example by introducing viruses, trying to gain unauthorised access, or sending unsolicited marketing messages through our contact forms.
3. Not medical advice
Our website and services offer coaching and BWRT-informed change work. They are not medical, psychiatric or psychological treatment, and they do not replace care from your GP or another qualified health professional.
-
Sukan Nair is a Registered Advanced BWRT Practitioner. He is not a medical doctor, psychiatrist or psychologist, and does not diagnose conditions.
-
Information on our website is general. It is not advice for your individual situation.
-
Please do not stop or change any medication or treatment without speaking to your GP.
-
If you are in crisis or at risk of harming yourself or others, contact your GP, call NHS 111, or call 999 in an emergency. You can also contact Samaritans free on 116 123, any time.
4. Results and suitability
Everyone is different, and change depends on many things, including your circumstances, your commitment and how you apply the work between sessions.
-
We do not promise or guarantee any particular result.
-
Examples, client words and descriptions on our website show individual experiences. They are not a prediction of what you will achieve.
-
We assess suitability on the discovery call and in your first session. If we believe our services are not right for you, or that another kind of support would serve you better, we will tell you honestly.
5. Discovery calls
-
Discovery calls are free, last about 30 minutes, and take place by video or phone.
-
The call is a conversation to understand what you want to change and whether working together makes sense. It is not a session of coaching or BWRT.
-
There is no obligation to book anything afterwards.
-
If you cannot make your call, please cancel or rebook using the link in your confirmation email, or let us know by email.
6. Go the Distance and payment
What is included
Go the Distance is a programme of 10 one-to-one sessions, usually over 10 to 13 weeks. The first session lasts 90 minutes. Later sessions last 60 minutes. The programme also includes online or WhatsApp check-ins between sessions and written materials to support your plan. Sessions take place online using Google Meet unless we agree otherwise.
Price
Pay in full: £1,950, paid before your first session
Three monthly payments: 3 × £650 (£1,950 in total), the first before your first session and the next two at monthly intervals
There is no extra charge for paying in instalments. Any founding or promotional rate we agree with you will be confirmed in writing before you start.
Payment terms
-
Prices include everything listed above. We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added.
-
We will send you an invoice or payment link or bank details for each payment.
-
If an instalment is more than 7 days late, we may pause your sessions until it is paid. We will always contact you first.
-
Your place on the programme is confirmed once we have received your first payment and your signed agreement.
7. Your right to cancel within 14 days
Because you book online or by phone, UK consumer law gives you the right to cancel within 14 days of agreeing to these terms, without giving a reason.
-
To cancel, email info@mariposabwrt.co.uk and say that you wish to cancel. You do not need to use a particular form.
-
If you ask us to start sessions within the 14 days, we will ask you to confirm this in writing. If you then cancel within the 14 days, we will refund what you have paid, minus a fair amount for the sessions and materials you have already received.
-
We will refund you within 14 days of your cancellation, using the same payment method you used.
8. Rescheduling and missed sessions
We understand that life happens. Please give as much notice as you can if you need to move a session.
-
If you give at least 48 hours' notice, we will move your session to another time at no charge.
-
If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, or do not attend, the session will normally count as used. We will consider genuine emergencies and illness fairly.
-
If you join more than 15 minutes late, we may need to end the session at the usual time.
-
If we need to cancel or move a session, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer another time. A session we cancel never counts as used.
-
The programme should be completed within 16 weeks of your first session, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
9. Ending the programme early
If you want to stop: you can end the programme at any time by emailing us. After the 14-day cancellation period, we will refund any payments for sessions not yet delivered, minus the cost of materials already prepared for you. If you pay in instalments, any instalments not yet due will be cancelled.
If we need to stop: we may end the programme if continuing would not be safe or appropriate for you, if payments are not made, or if there is abusive or threatening behaviour. If we end the programme for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund all payments for sessions not yet delivered, and help you find other support where we can.

We will:

13. Online sessions
-
Sessions take place by Google Meet. You need a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone.
-
Neither of us will record a session without the other's written agreement.
-
If the connection fails, we will try to reconnect. If we cannot, we will rearrange the remaining time at no charge.
14. Our materials and name
-
The content of our website and the materials we give you, including worksheets, plans, templates and recordings we create, belong to Sukan Nair or are used with permission.
-
You may use programme materials for your own personal use. Please do not copy, share, sell or use them to deliver services to others without our written permission.
-
"Mariposa Coaching", "Go the Distance" and our butterfly logo are our brand names. Please do not use them in a way that suggests a connection with us.
-

15. Links to other websites
Our website links to other sites, including Natural Menopause Roadmap, LinkedIn, Facebook and our booking system. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
16. Our liability to you
-
If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure or our lack of reasonable care and skill.
-
We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses. Our services are for personal use.
-
Our total liability to you for any programme will not be more than the total price you paid for it.
-
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
17. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please tell us as soon as possible at info@mariposabwrt.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 28 days.
If we cannot resolve it, you can raise a concern with The International BWRT Institute, of which Sukan Nair is a Registered Advanced Member.
18. Changes and governing law
-
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your programme is the one you agreed to when you booked, unless you agree to a change.
-
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will still apply.
-
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or in the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
